Bedford Blues Rugby Club currently play in National Division One, the second tier of English Rugby Union. The Blues often see crowds in excess of 2,000 for their home games and their Goldington Road stadium has a capacity of 6,000.

Bedford Town's proud history stretches back to 1908 although after a period in the wilderness during the '80s, the Club was reformed in 1990 by a band of spirited supporters to once again see the Eagles fly. A new home was found on the outskirts of the town and from humble beginnings, the Club once again has a stadium and facilities to be proud of.
