Child:Safe is an easy way to help ensure your child is safer when you visit Bedford town centre.
The Bluecaps are always on hand to distribute childsafe wristbands. Each wristband is numbered and linked to a secure database accessible by BedfordBID and Bedfordshire Police only, to ensure that should you and your child be separated at any point during your visit to Bedford Town centre, we have a quick and easy way to help reunite you.
Behind the scenes of Bedford Town Centre is one of the largest co-ordinated radiolink operations in a town centre, which connects over 120 radio users including CCTV, who are available should you require any assistance.
The wristband can be used as many times as you like for 12 months from the date of issue.
