The fun is coming back to Bedford from Thursday April 1st onwards when Beales department store opens its new toy department.

It has been many years since the well known Silver Street shop had a toy department, but thanks to popular demand the latest toys and games are going to be in stock.

New store manager Alex Mitchell saw an opportunity in the market since Woolworth’s closed - and she and her team are launching Toys on Two on the second floor of the store.

Staff at Toys on Two (above) will be celebrating the launch of their new store on Thursday.

The party begins on Thursday with staff in fancy dress, games and give-aways and will carry on throughout Good Friday and Easter Saturday. All those visiting the store can enter into a prize draw to win £200 of vouchers.

Beales Bedford is part of a department store chain which has 11 outlets across the UK.
