Let’s face it, sometimes the last thing we want to do after a hard day at work is cook dinner.

The good news is that the new weeknight menu from Amici means you don’t have to. At £10 for two courses, you can enjoy a freshly prepared meal without breaking the bank.

With a choice of four starters, in particular a succulent home-made soup to warm you up during the winter months, this menu is full of variety and offers excellent value for money. Other starters include bruschetta, prawn salad and tortellini.

The main course section offers a selection of Amici’s popular pasta dishes, which are also available on their own at only £5.95. If pasta is not your thing, you can also choose between mussels in white wine sauce, salmon Niçoise or a healthy Cajun chicken salad.

Khaled Rommene, the owner of Amici explains that “as a small family run restaurant, we want to offer our customers a different dining experience to the one they can encounter in a high street chain. Our food is freshly prepared and we put a lot of emphasis on customer service and attention to detail.”

This approach means that the restaurant can cater for most dietary requirements such as gluten-free, halal or vegetarian. Khaled adds: “Many of our regular customers have a favourite dish that might not even be on the menu. Our experienced chef Said knows their tastes and is always happy to put a personal twist on any recipe.”
