Bedford College is celebrating national Colleges Week by staging a three day event in the Harpur Shopping Centre, Bedford where people of all ages can learn about learning.
Part and full-time courses, evening classes, business and professional qualifications are all available on the riverside campus of Bedford College.
Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson stopped off to see Bedford College beauty students offering passers-by a comfortable chair and relaxing mini manicure on Wednesday 11th November
“One in ten people in Bedford have at one time or another been students at Bedford College. This access to further and higher education has enhanced people’s work and life experiences. At no time has this been more important,” explains Sales and Marketing Director Sarah Baxter,
“Everyone can benefit from seeing what career options are open to them if they have the right qualifications and what promotions can be won with professional training. Just pop along and see us at the Harpur Centre during normal shopping hours from Wednesday November 11th to Friday 13th - and find out how this could be lucky for everyone.”
Bedford College has 16,000 students ranging from 14 year old school pupils who attend vocational courses one day a week, to mature students who undertaken professional and work-based training, or return to learn by taking A Levels and winning a place at Cambridge University !
