Bedford hosts its first Italian market in the heart of its town centre, from Thursday 10th – Sunday 13th September. There will be a whole range of truly authentic Italian speciality foods and products on offer, which will make it an unmissable mouth watering event.

Further Italian celebrations will commence, as the town also hosts its first Italian Festival, on Sunday 13th September, from 11am – 4pm. It will be at the Italian Festival, that a statue, donated to the town by the Italian population, is unveiled.

Andy Pidgen, Events and Marketing Manager at Bedford Borough Council said: “Bedford is home to one of the largest concentrations of Italian families in the UK. The Italian Market will no doubt prove to be an enormously popular event, and in true Italian style and warmth, everyone is welcome! People are invited to try specialities from many Italian regions, from arancini to zabaglione ice cream.”
