At the Annual Bedford College Hair and Beauty Show on Thursday 27th May the Bedford Corn Exchange was packed with hundreds of students, staff, friends, family and representatives of salons and studios.

Overall winner was Nikki Carr, 17, of Split Enz salon in Mill Street, Bedford who entered in her model in the "ballet" class. She won £200 worth of BedfordBID vouchers.

Bedford College Principal Ian Pryce said at the showcase event: "We have IQ and GQ here at Bedford College, the G is for glamour."
