The Bedford Park & Ride service will be FREE throughout December. The service is designed to help shoppers over the Christmas period.

From 1st December to 31st December 2008, anyone can park for free and then travel into Bedford by bus. All charges will be waived over this busy period. Users will still need to show their car park ticket before they can travel on the bus.

The service is also good news for Bedford and the surrounding areas as it will ease traffic congestion and help protect the environment.

Those who have already purchased season tickets or have pre-paid tickets will be given an extension to their tickets depending on their date of purchase. They are encouraged to get in contact with Bedfordshire County Council on 01234 363222 or send an email to businfo@bedscc.gov.uk
