Football Shootout Winners announced

The winners of the Out of the Blue Football Shootout collected their prizes from the BedfordBID Bluecaps in Bedford town centre this weekend.

Hundreds of people took part in the shootout and met special guest and England footballing legend Peter Shilton in the process. The event took place on the corner of Midland Road and Silver Street and attracted shoppers and football fans alike – giving younger fans the chance to meet the former England and Leicester City goalkeeper, who handed out signed certificates for anyone trying their luck at the shootout.

All participants were entered into a prize draw and the lucky winners came along to Bedford town centre to collect their prizes from the BedfordBID bluecaps (pictured right) on Saturday.

The over 10’s winner was Geoff who won £50’s worth of Bedford town centre gift vouchers and runner-up was Shane (13) who won £25.

The under 10’s winner was Evelyn (4) who won also won £50 in Bedford town centre gift vouchers and runner-up was Henry (3) who won £25.
