The Love Bedford Diwali Festival of lights will showcase ‘The Flavour of Diwali’ which will feature seven of Bedford’s finest restaurants competing for the title of ‘Flavour of Diwali 2011.’

At 4pm, competing restaurants will be cooking up a vegetarian main course for a panel of 4 official judges who will declare this years’ official Flavour of Diwali winner. After judging, members of the public will be able to see, smell and maybe even taste dishes from the competing restaurants.
There will also be other Diwali food available including Samosas, Pakoras, Chana dal, as well as Arts & crafts and workshops including Mehndi and a Rangoli workshop.
