Bedford Swan Hotel is THE place for spotting celebrities in the town. Leonardo DiCaprio and “Batman” Christopher Bale are among the big films stars who have stayed there - and Take That were guests on another famous weekend.

Most recently though, a Trotters Independent Traders yellow van has been seen parked at the front of the hotel .....sparking rumours that Del Boy was in the bar.

He was - well - manager Dominic Mills dressed as Del Boy with Operations Manager Paul Faulkner as Trigger - re-creating the Only Fools and Horse TV scene when Del Boy falls through an opened flap at a bar.

They were being filmed for a sketch to be shown at an awards dinner staged by the BDL Hotel group, of which the Bedford Swan is a shining jewel in the crown.

The award take place on Febuary 28th at the Crowne Plaza in Docklands, London
