When beautiful bride-to-be Hannah Preston decided in 2009 on a date for her dream wedding at the Bedford Swan Hotel she little realised how popular the date would become !

April 29th 2011 was then chosen by Prince William and girlfriend Kate for their big day and Hannah and husband-to-be Paul Rafferty found themselves sharing the date with royalty.

“Well at least we can share the countdown in the national press,” said travel agent Hannah, aged 26,

“My regular clients kept popping in making jokes about the date and all the fuss.”

Hannah and Paul are having the marriage ceremony followed by an extra special reception at the premier venue - thanks to Bedford Swan Hotel manager Dominic Mills.

The Hotel has given £400 worth of champagne for the wedding toasts to help make Hannah and Paul’s guests feel like royalty on the big day.

“We couldn’t let the event pass by without helping to make it that bit extra special and champagne is always the answer,” said Dominic.

Hannah will be staying at the hotel the night before the wedding and her mum and friends are all being made-over at the nearby Jagged Edge hair and beauty salon.

Her sister and two friends will be bridesmaids and there will be two flower girls.

Being in the travel business means Hannah has booked a fantastic honeymoon in Mexico.
