If you’ve never popped in before, make sure you pay a visit to Brampton Pies on Harpur Street this week and try one of their delicious hot pies, available from Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 6pm.

The award winning hand-made pies have been subject to some rave reviews on the internet – Basia Seddon has described them as “fantastic - filled with tender, quality meat, properly seasoned. The flaky pastry was crisp, not soggy or doughy as in so many supermarket pies. This knocks spots off any ready made pie I have had - ever. It has home-made quality written all over it. The staff were friendly also.‎”

In fact, the only negative came from an anonymous reviewer who complained “It took me ages to decide which to buy - they have a really big range and it is difficult to choose.”

Brampton Pies also stock a wide range of baguettes, quiche, and other products, as well as offering a home delivery service.
