Bedford Town Centre was invaded by aliens just after lunch time on Saturday afternoon; with popular children's television super-heroes 'FOUR ARMS' and 'HUMUNGOUSAUR' making sure shoppers and visitors to the Town were safe from the villainous 'Vilgax' and his many legions of alien minions.

The super-hero aliens, from the hit Cartoon Network show 'Ben 10', spent the afternoon patrolling the Town Centre, ready to repel any alien attack, whilst also finding the time to meet and have their photo taken with children and fans.

Bedford Town Centre Blue Cap Rachel, 23, described the situation as "hairy", but went on to say that Four Arms and Humungousaur had done an excellent job preventing what was almost certainly an impending alien attack on Bedford Town Centre, whilst still managing to entertain children and families at the same time.

And although the two alien super heroes have now bid farewell to Bedford Town Centre to return to their home planets, children will next be able to meet Fifi and Bumble from Nick Jr show 'Fifi & the Flowertots', who visit Bedford Town Centre on Saturday 28th August, from 12pm.

Appearances by Four Arms, Humungousaur, Fifi and Bumble are free family events run by BedfordBID on behalf of Bedford Town Centre businesses. Parents are welcome to bring their cameras so that they can take pictures of their children with their favourite television stars. Children can also take part in colouring competitions and be entered into a prize draw to win some fantastic prizes.
